DownloadRedgifs is a free web tool for saving public Redgifs videos as MP4 files. You paste a link, pick HD or SD, and the video saves to your device with its sound.
Why we built it
Most Redgifs downloaders get in your way: popups, fake download buttons, sign-up walls, or files that arrive without sound. We wanted one that does the job and nothing else.
How it works
- You paste a Redgifs link into the box on the home page.
- Our server asks Redgifs for that video’s details: its length, size, whether it has sound, and where the HD and SD files are.
- When you press a download button, the file is passed from Redgifs through our server to your device as an MP4.
No video is ever stored on our servers, and nothing is added to it.
What this site is not
DownloadRedgifs is a tool, not a video site. It does not host, store, upload or publish any video. It has no library, no search and no pages showing anyone’s content. Every video it can reach is one that Redgifs is serving publicly at that moment.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t download private videos, image posts or whole profiles.
- It doesn’t accept Reddit links. Copy the Redgifs link from the post instead.
- It doesn’t need an app, an extension or an account.
Who we are
DownloadRedgifs is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Redgifs.
The videos on Redgifs belong to the people who made them, and what you download and do with it is your responsibility. Removing a video is up to Redgifs, who host it. If you own a video and want it blocked from this tool, see the DMCA page.
